Nana Panorme

(I have to write in the third person for this entry, because I write in the third person for all the others, so, um, um...)

Overview

Nana Panorme is the nicest, loveliest and most intelligent marine biologist in France (and perhaps the entire world), famous for having taken part in the legendary Nihil Expedition.

She appears in the novel "Fish Don't Cry" and is the author of the blog (this one!), from which the story takes its name. In short, she is the main character of this whole adventure!

Nana is an intelligent and extroverted young woman, lively and easy-going.

Despite this, she has an extremely vast vocabulary, and sometimes other people end up believing that some of her words don't actually exist, but are funny neologisms that function as a sort of "inside joke" between her and her interlocutor. Unlike her sister Martine, who actually tends to make up words, Nana has a very technical vocabulary.

She's a bit messy, often loses her pen (which is why she carries multiple ones with her, even though she sometimes loses them all) and ends up borrowing it from her sisters or, if she's temporarily alone, taking notes on her smartphone. Although she's a fan of "handmade things," she's also particularly drawn to the old web and personal sites: she has a collection of her favorites, which she visits often and wastes time on, reading other people's blogs or answering unlikely quizzes (like her favorite, "What zucchini cultivar would you be if you were born in 1994?") that she finds on these little corners of the web.

She enjoys drawing, but admits her technique could be better, and is currently at an amateur level. So she has Sangreal draw for her blog. He's supposedly her supervisor, but in practice, he's always so happy to help that he's become her "drawing machine."

Although she's not good at classic illustration, Nana has extensive experience with pixel art, which allows her to create her favorite images, those of "long cats" (or even "long catfish"), at will.

She collects stickers, both real and virtual.
